Steve Sexton is passionate about giving back to the community and does so in many ways. Not only is he the director of the Financial Knowledge Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community about financial matters, but Steve has also partnered with charities to raise awareness, raise money, and most of all — to have fun.

Back in November, Steve Sexton invited the charity group, Just In Time (JIT) to take part in the “Winning In Life” radio show on KCBQ. Sexton Advisory Group and Hospice of the Valleys partnered once again for a great cause, this time to honor Shawn Nelson at the Inspiration Gala. Nelson is co-founder of Jacob’s House and was Temecula City Manager from 1999 – 2011. He was chosen as the 2012 recipient by Hospice of the Valleys Board of Directors. Steve Sexton partnered with Hospice of the Valleys for a wine and cheese event on July 13, 2011 in an effort to educate the public and raise awareness for Hospice of the Valleys. The Hospice’s mission is to foster reverence for life, relief of suffering, and compassion in loss. Hospice care at Hospice of the Valleys provides ailing patients and their families with comfort and support in their time of need.

In May 2011, Sexton Advisory Group along with the Financial Knowledge Institute, sponsored a very special event, “An Evening With Pat Boone and Friends.” It was a special night, celebrating our country, our veterans and our active military and featured a special performance by legendary entertainer Pat Boone.
